This website is owned by the Capuchin Franciscan of Holy Trinity Province, Karnataka, to propagate the life, work and mission of the Servant of God, Fr. Alfred Roche OFM Cap. He was the member of our Province, born on 3rd April 1924 at Pandeshwar island, Barkur. Knowing the exemplary life and dedicated pastoral service of Fr. Alfred Roche, a decision was taken by the Capuchins of the Holy Trinity Province, Karnataka, during the provincial chapter to propose the name of Fr. Alfred Roche to the Sacred Congregation. Having obtained the Nihil Obstat, on 26 March 2021, the Bishop of Udupi, Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, initiated the Cause on 15 August 2021 and also Inaugurated the Diocesan Process of Beatification and Canonization of servant of God, Fr. Alfred Roche on 27 December 2021. This website has been designed with a purpose of making known the life of the servant of God worldwide, so that more and more people may profit from his exemplary life. Therefore, the Capuchin Franciscan of Holy Trinity Province along with the Diocese of Udupi, call upon all the viewers to help us to propagate the life and works of Servant of God, Fr Alfred Roche by sharing your lived experiences with him and also by becoming a valuable witness to the cause of his Sainthood.
